Patrick Choquette led a set of educational workshops for disciplinary committee members of the Association des Courtiers et Agents immobiliers du Québec (ACAIQ) on October 15 and October 16 at the Château Vaudreuil. These workshops dealt with the new Real Estate Brokerage Act and regulations passed into law in May 2008 but not as yet in force. Choquette also reviewed the rules of evidence and evaluation of testimony in disciplinary law.
Sylvain Lallier conducted a conference on legal mortgages in the construction industry on October 30 at the ACQ Laval Laurentides.
The individuals who hold management positions in the organizational structure of a business or association are specifically excluded from the application of the Act.
