Ethics for elected municipal officials
With the enactment of the Municipal Ethics and Good Conduct Act, Me Daniel Goupil of the firm’s municipal and environmental law group will provide ethics training for elected municipal officials during sessions organized by the Fédération Québécoise des Municipalités (FMQ) in collaboration with the MAMROT on September 9th (municipality of Lac des Écorces), September 10th (city of Saint Sauveur), October 15th (municipality of Saint-André d’Argenteuil), October 22nd (Labelle), October 29th (Nominingue) and November 19th (Grenville).
Trademark applications: Never provide false or inaccurate information
A trademark registration may prove invalid if the information provided in the application process is inaccurate. A trademark registration certificate does not create rights for the holder but rather confirms them.
